New Feist Dates, Shows With Meat Puppets - 28/02/12
Timber Timbre has added a pair of Canadian dates to its May and June run supporting Feist in North America.
The new dates are in Calgary and Saskatoon, at the Sled Island and Saskatchewan Jazz Festivals respectively.
TT will also support Meat Puppets for two Texas shows at the end of April.

Timber Timbre To Support Feist On U.S. Tour + Two JUNO Nominations - 07/02/12
Already announced to support Laura Marling in the UK this March, Timber Timbre will tour with another internationally prized female vocalist when the band joins Feist on her upcoming U.S. tour.
The April/May dates will follow a trip to the 2012 JUNO Awards in Ottawa, with the band earning Alternative Album and Recording Package of the Year nominations for Creep On Creepin' On.
Further, fans across Europe will have a rare opportunity to see Timber Timbre in its original form this March following the Laura Marling tour, when Taylor Kirk performs 10 very special pared down sets from London to Istanbul.

Timber Timbre Featured On Arabaki's Songs For Children Comp - 30/09/11
Naninimo Makezu: Songs for Children from Arabaki is a 2-disc charity compilation album, featuring contributions from acclaimed Japanese and Canadian artists who have performed at the Arabaki Rock Festival, as well as friends of the Arabaki Project. The project is dedicated to the children affected by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
The album, and individual tracks, will be available for purchase through iTunes for two months only starting September 16th. Proceeds will be donated by the Arabaki Project to the children of Miyagi, Iwate and Fukushima prefectures of Northeastern Japan.
Timber Timbre is also offering a limited edition t-shirt via GalleryAC.com with all proceeds going to Japanese Red Cross Society to aid in disaster relief.

Timber Timbre Nominated For Three GAMIQ Awards - 29/09/11
The Quebec Indie Music Awards (GAMIQ), presented in collaboration with MusiquePlus, have Timber Timbre up for honours in the Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Singer-Songwriter Album of the Year categories.
Nominations were determined by specialized juries made up of journalists, venue and festival bookers throughout Quebec, both Francophone and Anglophone.
Winners will be announced Sunday, November 13th, 2011 at Montreal's Théâtre Plaza.

New Dates, Video And Vinyl Reissues - 29/08/11
Timber Timbre has announced a handful of new dates for November and December, including a Toronto show at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and a Montreal date at St. Jean Baptiste Church.
The band is also premiering its new video for “Too Old To Die Young” - a wonderful and bizarre animated journey from Toronto art scene fixture Jesi The Elder.

Further, Timber Timbre will offer vinyl reissues of its first two recordings, Cedar Shakes and Medicinals, which were originally released in 2005 and 2007 respectively. These re-releases are available now for the first time physically, but only at the merch table during upcoming Timber Timbre tour dates.
Fans should also note that on September 19th Creep On Creepin’ On will be one of 10 Canadian recordings considered for the prestigious Polaris Music Prize.
The band will perform at the nationally televised gala, alongside Austra, Braids, Hey Rosetta!, Ron Sexsmith and more.

Creep On Creepin' On has been short listed for the 2011 Polaris Music Prize.
The nomination for the prestigious $30,000 award places the record among some of Canada's musical elite, including Arcade Fire's The Suburbs and Ron Sexsmith's Long Player Late Bloomer.

Following a hugely successful French tour in February prior to the release of the internationally acclaimed Creep On Creepin’ On, Timber Timbre is now set to make a major return to Europe this August and September. The tour, which includes multiple stops in Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and the U.K., kicks off in Basel on August 10 and wraps with a special performance at End Of The Road Festival in Dorset September 3.

The band regrets the cancellations, and offers its sincerest apologies to fans in the affected markets.
